Terror case called much more serious

WASHINGTON - Since the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, senior government officials have announced dozens of terrorism cases that on closer examination seemed to diminish as legitimate threats. The accumulating evidence against a Denver airport shuttle driver suggests he might be different, with some investigators calling his case the most serious in years. Ref. Source 1

Terror threat often comes from radicals within you.S.

Altogether more than a dozen Americans have been captured or pursued for allegedly supporting jihad, or holy war, over the past two years. The cases demonstrate with increasing clarity what authorities have long known: The terrorist threat does not just come from the skies, far away, but from Hometown, U.S.A. Ref. Source 9

According to ABC Nightline report:

international QUOTE
Federal authorities are closing in on the man they say is a person of interest in the Times Square car bomb attempt this weekend, who is described as a naturalized American citizen who hails from Pakistan and just returned after spending five months there.

I am not surprised with the attempt. I am happy it was caught in time. What I am surprised about is that it does not happen more often. The Intelligence services in the US must be doing a very good job.
