Free Trade, Restoring Parity Or Deepening Despair?

I saw this interesting documentary on Free Trade Agreements and how they can destroy Third-World economies. Even the most innocent charity, like donating clothes, is having an adverse effect on textiles industries.

What does everyone think about Free Trade Agreements and should there be mechanisms in place to protect weaker nations so they can develop? Also, do you think a "Free" Trade Agreement ever really exists?
