Where do these people come from and where do they get their ideas from?
The "Prophet" Of Colorado City, Ariz., says God hates the sound of babies crying.
You'd think that kind of dogma would be laughed off the face of the Earth. Instead, it prospered in the clear air on the Arizona-Utah line.

City Colorado Prophet The
There is no doubt that those people in Colorado City have gotten more and more strange lately. I only know a little bit of their history, but the last two or three leaders there have been heading off into the far reaches of theology.
This is a particularly horrible idea though, even for them.

What a horrible existence for those people -- and the really sad part is that many of them will never know what it's like to live a "normal" life. Since these precepts are ingrained when they are literally infants, they will believe how they are living is what is normal.
I can't even imagine it.
