DEATH RATES HIGHER WHEN SENIORS WAIT LONGER FOR HIP SURGERY: REPORT

About 28,000 people were hospitalized for hip fractures in Canada last year, most of them seniors who, according to a report released Wednesday, showed higher death rates as the wait for surgery increased.

Hip Surgery Health & Special Psychology

Just like with shoulder injuries and them getting back to running or back to playing thier sport I think they are pushing thier body too much. I think you should give yourself a full year to recover properly. I may have to ask my son what he thinks.
