It's interesting that on his apology he forgets to apologize to his own daughter! *shaking head* It is obvious that he did it on purpose.

So, the actual story leaking to the Media does more harm than his words to her? Somebody needs a reality check.

The bad news is, if Kim Basinger wanted to admit the tape as evidence, in order to gain full custody of their daughter Ireland, she can kiss that opportunity goodbye. Right now, the court will not allow it as evidence; in addition to this, Kim Basinger could actually be held in contempt, since no permission had been granted, for the tape to be released to the press.

After I reading the above, I do not see a father who is contrite for his behaviour. This apology can be summed up in two words, "damage control!"

Baldwin for President?

Alec Baldwin was on 60 minutes this weekend and revealed a troubling factoid---he is interested in running for political office. While talking about that, Alec brought up the disturbing phone call that he made to his 11 year old daughter when he called her a 'thoughtless pig' who didn't have the brains or common courtesy to pick up the phone. The most troubling part is that Alec thinks the biggest travesty in that whole incident is what happened to him.
