Club Chess

I am not currently part of a chess club, but I have been part of school chess clubs in both Trinidad and the US. In those days being part of the chess club did not have as much 'nerd' and 'geek' slogans attached to it. I learned a lot from encounters with others from across the globe (foreign exchange students) and I think it is a brilliant way to develop your children's minds as an extra curricular activity.

Club Chess

I was in a chess club in high school. It was great. I felt like I belonged. Now I play cc on a few different sites.
