If my family forgot my birthday I would actually celebrate for the simple fact I look at birthday's as another day of the year and of no significants in my life. I know that it means that I came to earth at that time but nothing else, should we celebrate the date of our death, it has just as important meaning?

I feel like I never did much for my birthday as I hit my preteens. Back then, I'd be really upset and it might have triggered my depression. Now, though, I tend to forget my own, if I'm being honest! It's just an added boost to my self-esteem when I get messages for my birthday.
