He died so young. Prince was very talented but went a bit weird in his career like his rival Michael Jackson. After becoming a Jehovah Witness he toned down a bit but he recently picked back his flare. Apparently he was ill and his plane had to make an emergency landing after one of his concerts, I wonder what happened?

President Barack Obama joined the chorus of voices paying tribute to Prince, who died on Thursday.

Prince Rogers Nelson, 57, was found unresponsive in an elevator at his Paisley Park studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota, authorities said. The death is being investigated and an autopsy will be performed, according to the sheriff’s office.
The death of the man who penned hits such as "Let's Go Crazy," "Nothing Compares 2 U" and "When Doves Cry" – and stirred controversy with suggestive lyrics -- hit fans and fellow artists hard.

There were no obvious signs of trauma, and no reason to believe Prince's death was suicide, Minnesota investigators say.
The news followed an autopsy on the music superstar conducted on Friday. Complete results from the autopsy could take days or weeks, the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office said.

Prince was a very good showman and a an even better guitarist than he was a singer but that's just my opinion. He did make a huge impact on the music industry with his Purple Reign album.
