Layer Angelic

Part Pokemon, part Yugioh, all wrapped up in a nice little package for girls. This started out as a manga that got made into an anime. I think the premise for the series is played out and tired.

This series centers around a girl who plays a game called Angelic Layer. Instead of cards or creatures they have robotic dolls. I really find this anime annoying, less for the actual storyline which I hate, and more for the fact that it is a childized rehash of an old plot. This show seems like it was made for little girls who like dolls and their brothers action figures. Battling dolls? Thats to silly for me to give the time.

I only watch the first episode but I personally think its cool, like some modern gladiator, no idea why its only female doll as far I know, but I like the petting system of it.
