Crisis Bubblegum

This series just never held my interest, even though at first glance it looks like it would. It takes place in the future.

In the beginning, we learn that a mysterious giant earthquake levels tokyo. In recovery phase, a company called Genom becomes powerful and influential by creating an artificial life forme to do manual labor, called Boomers. They are essentially the labor/slave class and don't have rights.

What they do have is their own individual life force and their desire for freedom. When they break free or rebel, they are nearly unstoppable. But there isn't a huge revolt, its usually one or two at a time. To stop them, a group called the Knight Sabers is created that uses super powered suits to fight them. In the middle of all this, some girl moves to Megalo city to join the Sabers and is completely unaware of what she is getting into.

This show starts off good, but there is nothing else to it! No big lead into a huge revolt. No revolution or evil plot to gain power or anything but the described. One group of people putting down a group of enslaved artificial life forms, almost sad.
