Lex Luthor

Lex Luthor

Lex Luthor is being made more and more popular because of the reintroduction of Superman over the years. The interesting about Lex Luthor is that he has no natural super powers, just lots of money, gadgets and a brilliant mind that leans towards being too eccentric. Here is some more about him with a lot of help from answers.com:

Created by: Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster
First appeared: 1940

QUOTE
What he used to be and now:

The (usually) bald-headed Luthor has been Superman's main foe for most of the superhero's existence and has unveiled countless plots to destroy him and take over the world. Originally Luthor was a mad scientist but has since been rewritten as a Machiavellian industrialist and white-collar criminal. For a brief period in the early 2000s, he was president of the United States.

Now the most interesting part for me is how he became bald, no, it is not because of the kryptonite or cancer, it was a mistake! Read this:

QUOTE
When Luthor first appeared, he was portrayed with a full head of red hair; however, in 1941 Luthor came to be portrayed as completely bald after an artist's mistake.

Later it was written that Lex lost his hair due to a chemical mishap in his lab that he blamed on SuperBoy. However, that is not the end, Lex Luthor has undergone many changes and is finally resting around the history that the TV series 'Smallville' has about him. A Friend

Luthor Lex

Lex is a classic superhero bad guy. He doesn't use superpowers or mutations to accomplish his evil plots, he uses his brain! Despite the fact that superman has super strength, in indestructible, and can fly, Lex continues to pit his brain against the legendary Superman. Not only does this show his courage, it shows his confidence in his own power of mind to over come anything.
