Rep. Ed Markey will win a special U.S. Senate election in Massachusetts, CNN projects.
The 20-term Democratic congressman faced off against Republican businessman and former Navy SEAL Gabriel Gomez.
Markey will serve out the remaining year and a half of the term of longtime Democratic Sen. John Kerry, who stepped down this year to become U.S. Secretary of state. Ref. CNN

I remember when they criticized him about the legislation he wanted to propose about roller coasters I'm actually in agreement with him, they are creating faster ones that can be damaging to individuals. Well, I wish him well.
