The Worst Day Of The Year
TODAY IS ULTIMATE DOWNER
Having a bad day? Well, no wonder. According to one scientist, today is the gloomiest day of 2006. Cliff Arnall, a health psychologist at the University of Cardiff in Wales, has devised a formula that combines personal and seasonal factors to calculate that Jan. 23 is the year's emotional low point.

Year The Day Worst The
I read about this the day after Jan 23rd, and interestingly enough, one of my coworkers, who suffers from season depression, was a bit more depressed the day after Jan 23rd than the 23rd itself. Here in Minnesota, the weather was a lot gloomier on the 23th than it was on the 23rd. I did however think it interesting that this scientist could pick out one day in the year as the worst day of the year.
