Solution to Depleted Uranium
What do you think is the most viable Solution to Depleted Uranium? Consider economics, handling, storage, etc.

Quit using depleted uranium first. You have to dam the river of poison before you can clean up the spills. There is more than 3,000 nuclear bombs worth of radioactive material in Iraq alone. This may very well be the most deadly thing man has done to man in the history of mankind. The half life of those little particles of DU is millions of years.

The only way to eradicate DU is to stop using it. It is a weapon of mass destruction and responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis.
I cannot believe these bombs were used in the first place, it's quite frankly a crime against humanity and totally unecessary.
I am not sure how you can effectively clean it up. But there is an urgent case for those who used it to do so.
