I remember watching a high speed car chase on TV the other day and the police ended up giving up because the guy was taking them in circles. Something like this would have really saved a lot of time because they could have attached one of these GPS gumballs early in the trace and just sit back and track. The safety issue of multiple vehicles speeding on the highways and regular roads can also be avoided. Hopefully this technology becomes more widespread and accepted by law officials.
