U2 IS THE BIG GRAMMY WINNER
Mariah Carey may have received much of the pre-show attention, but U2 was the
big winner Wednesday night at the Grammys, taking five awards -- including two
of the biggest, album of the year and song of the year.

I was glad to see a perennial artist like U2 win a lot of grammys than a newcomer like Kayne West. Personally, I don't care for his music that much, and I think he gained a lot of popularity because of his anti-war / anti-government comments during the Katrina situation. Mariah Carey did have a big year, and so did Kelly Clarkson, and they were justly rewarded with 3 and 2 awards each. I didn't watch the Grammy's, much like I don't watch any awards shows, because of how long-drawn they become.
