Bounty Hunter Tactics

Best Bounty Hunters

Humans use the Best Bounty Hunters they can find to capture a criminal, however the Bounty Hunter's Tactics may not always be politically correct when it comes to apprehending a difficult criminal. Should it matter - what is your view?

Tactics Hunter Bounty

Well, it is easy to judge the Bounty Hunter, but what about the violently aggressive criminal that does not want to come in? I believe equal or more force is sometimes necessary to bring in someone, but of course it will be up to every Bounty Hunter to ensure they are not over stepping their bounds. Maybe a system of recording the arrest or working as a team may help that.

Bounty Hunter Tactics History & Civil Business Politics

When I hear the label "bounty hunter" I think of the Old Western flicks where the bounty hunter brings in the criminal, dead or alive, basically at whatever cost is necessary. Obviously those rules, or lack of them, do not apply to today's society (or at least shouldn't), so the bounty hunter really needs to abide within the lines of the laws that they are trying to protect themselves. Therefore, they need to be regulated to verify that they are not overstepping their boundaries. On the other hand, since they are being asked to deal with the criminal aspect of society, I believe they also need to be afforded some, not all, of the 'slack' so to speak, in how they apprehend their criminal. Therefore, they should be able to carry concealed weapons, and use law enforcement tactics. We need to consider them as we would consider law enforcement officials, the big difference being that they are privately funded instead of by the government. So long as they do not abuse the power they have been granted by their bounty hunter license, then let them act accordingly.
