The benefits of having Footmen as part of your Army in Nightmares RPG can be discussed here.

The Dice Master says...

Footmen are the cheapest Army group you can acquire. It is wise to have as many of these Footmen as possible as they can be a formidable fighting force in large numbers.

Footmen Archive Pathfinder / D&D

Do different groups have the ability to move faster, such as the footmen move slower than mounted army? Footmen obviously having no transport would be slower, but games don't always follow real life.

The Dice Master says...

Footmen will have the least skill, speed, etc. I am yet still to add something showing the abilities of each Army type, but have not reached there yet. However, because they are cheap it is worth having as many as possible.
