I'm glad to read he is recovering! What a crazy story! It is a miracle that he survived all these years even though he had so many health issues.

German doctors said that the Afghan man, who for years suffered from headaches, runny nose and eye problems, had a 10-centimeter or four-inch pencil lodged in his head.
Surgeons at the University Hospital of Aachen took out the pencil from the 24-year-old, and he is recovering.
The pencil injured the man's sinuses and right eye socket.
When asked how the pencil got in his head, he recalled having fallen once as a child and suffering a severe nosebleed.
