Trinichic Introduction - Page 3

Of course I noticed your word 'believer' that is why I did not say you are not the only Catholic here, but instead repeated... "Catholic believer", regardless... being an active participant there still does not mean you are the only believer. Just because you choose to 'defend' or 'explain' your faith does not mean there aren't others devotee or more devotee here, it just means you are the one who chooses to expound in this particular area - good on you as maybe it will give courage to others who thought of Discussing the Catholic belief system.

Interestingly enough, many join who are expert in a particular area, but instead dive into Topics other than their field of expertise or listed reason for joining.

That could be, that when joining they don't realize there is actually a section more suited to their area of expertise, than the one which provided them with a reason for joining?

Incidentally, I think if a person truly believes in something, they would not allow other people's misconceptions about it to just sit there for months, without saying anything at all.

Not really, most times people join because they find a Board of interest, but then end up participating somewhere else. All you have to do is browse through the Welcome section or look at what people put as the Reason for them joining. Believe me, I have been here for years and nothing is new with people's posting methods. You can even look at your own account... your reason is 'Trinidad & Tobago' for being here but you are in the Catholic section most.

You will be surprised. Some people actually get angry when we challenge them, remember, not everyone is a 'Trinichic' with a point of view wink.gif.

Well, I have been in and out for a while, but thought I'd update this... I'm engaged!

It's a long-distance relationship, we were introduced by a mutal friend. He's absolutely 100% the man I've been looking for all my life, I'm certain of it... I finally understand what people mean by the concept of 'soulmates'. I could babble on and on with romantic nonsense here, but I won't bore you with that! smile.gif

Really, I'm just bringing this up to date! Speaking of which, no date has been set, we still have to figure out the whole 'meeting the family' thing on both ends, and decide where we'd live after marriage... but barring all those gory details, I'm on cloud nine right now and wanted to share!

Congrats to you, and him. You mentioned it being a long distance relationship - how 'long' are we talking about and how did you meet?
