Shillate Introduction

Hi--
Anyone out there interested in political theory and how it might be applied to public policy? I enjoy discussing libertarian, Marxist, and other political theories and how they might impact the way we create policies, such as education policy (a libertarian might argue that colleges should choose to be accredited, and not required to do so, for example). I have a doctorate in political science, am currently employed at a university, but not as a professor--so it would be great to get some insights out there...

Welcome! You certainly have come to the right place. You should look at the Activism & Politics Board or International News, both these Boards are ripe with Discussion. We also have some politically based Threads within the LDS Deep Doctrine Board, but that is just for LDS based comments, the other Boards are generalized and should be free from religious comments.
