Kntoran has a point there. Usually a good dungeon master will give details as a hint that you need to explore more there, but a really great DM will not so you end up tripping if you don't search and inquire about everything around you.

Gaming Role-play Detail Too

For me it could be going into too much detail in one post and then you're drained for the next. For me its best to keep in simple so you can have more interaction with characters rather then one long post detailing everything and then be silent when characters reply.
