I didn't know this singer or her songs, but maybe someone here did. Regardless, it is tragic to see such a talented and beautiful individual lose their life so early. Her mother, grandmother and aunt all died of breast cancer as well, and it sounds like she was a very big advocate for Breast Cancer to women in Latin countries.

Its odd, I have never heard her music but know who she is. My wife knew her because of her work to fight breast cancer. Apparently she has donated lost of her time and money towards finding a cure for breast cancer. Since my wife is semi-active in the cause, she is saddened by her loss. Everyone one on the website she is a member of got an email about her death, she will be greatly missed by all those involved in finding a cure.
