Frank Wagner is sleeping with his family in the apartment in Gothenburg. All their personal belongings are unpacked in moving boxes with the backpack with all the money he saved up over the years as undercover for the police on the table. Suddenly a group of heavily armed men breaks into the apartment. Frank responds quickly and manages to escape with his family, and run to the only person he can trust: Johan Falk. While wondering if the worst nightmare is now here, Frank cooperates with the police, which reveals a deeper truth about Gothenburg's crime bosses and the police.
