Gasoline pipeline blast kills up to 200 in Nigeria

QUOTE
LAGOS, Nigeria (CNN) -- Between 150 and 200 people were killed on Friday when a gasoline pipeline exploded in Nigeria, officials said, incinerating people as they were trying to drain fuel into cans.

Apparently the explosion occured when people were trying to steal gasoline from the pipeline. The sad part is that the bodies will not be identified and instead buried in mass graves around the site.

Now thats just absurd. Stealing gasoline from the pipeline was going to end up bad if they just thought about it. However, death by incineration takes the task of enforcing the law out of the governments hands. I wonder how this will effect gas prices over here with a major supply line rupturing. Even if it doesn't directly effect us, I'm sure they will use it as an excuse to raise prices.
