Intel has always had a very confusing way of numbering and categorizing their processors. With the new style processors this is no different. Have you ever looked at the information sheet that came with your computer and wondered what all the abbreviations and numbers listed with the processor actually mean? In the IT field I have found I need a reference guide to keep up with technology myself in order to ensure I am ordering the appropriate processor for my needs and not ordering what may be old stock rather than new technology. Intel has an online resource that breaks everything about their processors down to an art. I highly recommend checking it out.

Very nice link Bwren, very much appreciated. What I liked most is that it walks you through getting all the information for your processor starting with its general name like Pentium or Celeron. I was able to easily get to the sheet about my specific processor and view all the information from Front Side bus to best boards for it. Very cool for us tech geeks who like stuff like that!
