What are your thoughts about English Cricket? England plays good today and not so good tomorrow, what do you feel causes their lack of consistency to become a dominant world champion?
England's problem is that they are not really as good as the hype that surrounds them. Andrew Flintoff tends to carry the team and is a genuine world class star. Overall they have solid players but not enough proven match winners. That is why they are so inconsistent, not enough people can put up their hand when the pressure is on.
I don't believe this current England team is going to be true world champions. They are good enough to win the World Cup, but not good enough to dominate test matches for a time when they can be dubbed the world's best.
