How Often Should I Update My Portfolio?

I'm starting out, and trying to pick up my modeling career. I'm kind of new so I don't really know everything I should. How often should I update my portfolio?

More than how often you should update it you may want to focus on having the absolute best shots up. I can't tell you the number of times I have seen good looking models with terrible photographs that takes away from their potential. Do you have professional photos done already?
