Former Marine fends off robbers, kills 1
A former Marine cook used a pocketknife to fend off a group of would-be robbers, killing one and wounding another, police said.

This sounds very similar to the storyline in Con Air where Nicholas Cage's character, a military man, defends his wife against attackers, and kills one of them. I am glad the man in this story will not face charges, because, in his defense, he was defending himself. If he had not done what he did, he would probably be dead himself. Those robbers picked the wrong person to attack.

However, publishing his picture (although they know his location) does not help since if the robbers (or family / friends) want to take on some kind of revenge because of the lost of their accomplice then it would not be so difficult.
