Mass Migration

What do you think about mass migration? Do you think it is positive to the recieving country (it enriches the culture of another country), or on the other hand, do you think it creates a problem of assimilation (the bigger the migration is, the harder to assimilate them)?

I believe you've answered your own questions. While new cultures can enrich a country, it's obvious that any mass movement of people will create its own problems on the receiving country, as well as on the country of origin.

Even the mass movement of people from the areas devastated by Katrina into other states has created problems of assimilation, just between states within the same country.
