Thanks for sharing and I completely understand, indeed, I would say those are good grounds for complete paranoia. However, I still cannot understand why people insist on living in a tornado belt or an earthquake fault, etc. Maybe it is because that is your only possible means, but at the same time the risk factor is so high.

We have two Boards that talk about these things: Survival and USA Board, you may like to visit those and share more.

Do you have any children?

Have you ever played Text Based RPGs like what we have here?

Introduction Indygo

Cool, a survival board. I hadn't seen that one yet. I did post on USA board about Kansas, but I didn't mention the tornados. I figured everyone probably knew about those already, because of the movie "Wizard of Oz".

I Figure there's not many places one can live without some kind of danger, be it flooding, ice and blizzards, fires, crime or bombings. If there is, there's probably no jobs there undecided.gif

I feel a little safer nowadays, living here in town, because there's tornado alarms and the neighbors on both sides of me have basements.

Yes a have a wonderful little miracle, a 21 month old daughter named Marissa.

No, I've never played text based RPG's before, but I thought I might like to try. I read some of "The Village Tavern" and I don't know now. You guys are so good! Such imaginations, I don't know if I could compete.

Why thanks guys! I feel much better now that those FP aren't burning a hole in me pocket anymore wink.gif

Yes, it's always nice to have a real face to go with the words. I just hope my pic didn't scare you too bad. Just kidding. But really it's not the greatest quality. Looks kind of like my reflection in a carnival funhouse mirror.

Oh well, it's still 100% un "Photochopped" me!

That is because it is bigger than the allotted limit for uploaded avatars. You are graphic savvy so I am sure you can correct it easily wink.gif.

Ahh okay. I made it as small as I could on my computer as I have no editing programs at home that can change pixel size (that I know of) Are there any that come with WindowsXP that can do that? Or maybe a free (legal) download?

I could do it at work and try not to get caught "goofing off" Actually they'd probably just ask me what the heck I was doing.

Oh well, maybe I could generate some interest in the forums that way wink.gif
