When I was in school, I did not have a computer at home, while some of my friends did. I did not get a pc till my first year in college. However, back then, the computer was not an integral part of the education system as it is today. It was more of a luxury; if you had it, you had an advantage. Today, it is almost a necessity. Even though I did not even sit down at a computer until I was in college, I now work in the IT industry, so it can be done. But the disadvantage is still there.
