BELIEF IN HEAVEN, HELL WEAKENING
Belief in hell is going to you-know-where. And belief in heaven is in trouble, too. That's the concern of some Christian thinkers, including Jeffrey Burton Russell, an emeritus professor of history at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Hell and Heaven
I don't believe that this is true. I know to many people that not only believe in heaven and hell but are strengthening their beliefs in it. I can name at least two people who used to not believe and now do. The idea that people are "falling away" from christian beliefs has been prevalent for a good long time and gets popular to start shouting it from the soap boxes everyone once in a while. The problem is that its just not true. In US, studies show that more people than ever believe in god and other core christian values like heaven and hell, than ever before.
