Grumpy, Dopey and Bashful are famously known as three of Snow White's seven dwarfs in the Caldecott Medal award-winning `Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.` But the portrayal of disabilities - such as dwarfism - in Caldecott books, at times have not accurately represented real-life disabilities, according to professors at BYU.

Inaccurately Disabilities Show Books Kids

Well of course not, its a fairy tale regarding mythical dwarfs, not actual types of people. I doubt it was even meant to portray real dwarfs, but more on the level or elves and gnomes. Either way, that type of thing is taken care of these days because of political correctness. There is really no point to critiquing a book as old as Snow White.
