EDITORIAL: 6 DOGS DIED NEEDLESSLY
When an animal shelter is so understaffed that it relies heavily on inmate labor, there's a problem. When the paid staff are inexperienced and too few in number, it's a recipe for serious problems.

This story really bothers me because of the fact that they had so many unexperienced workers. You can never run a quality business on that much inexperienced work. I would always try to check and make sure that there were experienced people on staff before checking my animal in, but can you always know? You only really know what they tell you unless they have a bad, documented history with animals and labor.
