[artist] Sage Francis

Sage Francis is a rapper that is extremely politically outspoken. Often writing sounds stating the obvious that no one wants to hear with songs like "Make shift patriot" and "Buzz kill" he is very controversial and difficult to ignore when you hear one of his songs. His lyrics are rough, but most are posted on his site anyway, not wanting to hide his message behind music and beat.

"Healthy Distrust" is his newest album and is nothing short of brilliant.

Sage was recently interviewed by Rolling Stone magazine and the interview was less than flattering. The problem was that they made it seem like people against the government are not just wrong, but crazy and unpatriotic. I have experienced this my self recently and am glad that Sage had the flair to stand up for himself on his own website and not let stuff like that go.
