Is this a serious thread? Just anyone who goes against Bush is immediately demonized? Where is your humanity? The evidence indicates that our government deliberately bombed the Al-Jazeera offices. The Media had been using them as a base to get to good stories at the time. They knew what the chances of getting American citizens killed were. And it doesn't really matter if Bush is involved in day to day matters, the fact is that evidence (witnesses and documents attained) show that he not only helped plan it but knew the risks of American casualties. That makes him at least partially responsible.
I'm sure this woman would like to be told to her face that this is just another stunt by the pro-terrorist lobby, and not to do with her losing her husband unnecessarily. Of course, he was just doing his job. Why is it easier to say someone is part of the pro-terrorist lobby than to say our president screwed up? I don't remember a president in which so many people try to justify so many wrongs.
Further, Al-Jazeera as a whole is nothing more than an independent news organization. They have no direct links with terrorists. They are from those countries and thus are able to get in good to get the best footage for their stories. Also, you are assuming that because some of the employees where involved in terrorism that this must mean every person in Al-Jazeera must be terrorist and thus Al-Jazeera itself must be a terrorist supporter. How can anyone accept such a broad statement? Thats like saying since someone from Oklahoma bomb a government building, then people from Oklahoma must be domestic terrorists, and thus all of Oklahoma must be a domestic terrorist state. You can't make broad accusations based on a couple people. Since Muslim radicalism exists only from muslim countries, then one must assume that an all muslim company will have some that join in on those types of activities, it doesn't mean the entire organization is bad, especially when it happened on such an individualized basis. After all, they are a media that shows EVERYTHING that happens over there, not just bits a pieces fed intravenously to us.
I hope she wins, and becomes the first person to make Bush responsible for his decisions. But she won't because everyone knows that Bush has yet to be held responsible for anything he has done so far. But godspeed to her.
Ah, yes the battle of media polarism.
In America, Al-Jazeera is bad, die Al-Jazeera.
In Qatar, CNN is bad, die CNN.
It should be stated that it was both of those news organizations which contributed to this mess.
And as Nighthawk and Konquerez said, in this day and age, anyone who disagrees with Bush is bad and evil.
No wonder why the world hates Americans.
As for the wife, she has absolutely every right to sue for her husband, and she absolutely deserves to win. The U.S. has no buisness there. I don't care what CNN says. Where's the objective media?
And as a final note, Nighthawk, sending people to an illegal prison with records of violations of human rights is just condescding ourselves to the terrorists' levels.
How pitifully stupid can the democrats and the liberal media be? They will grasp at any straw, or run any story to make Bush look bad. For what? To beat him in the next election. He can't run again!

All you conservative continue to ask why the democrats keep up "bush bashing". Why do people keep saying he is doing a bad job? Why do they continue to do it when there is nothing to gain? Because he is doing a bad job! He has again lied to us. I believe the claim to the media originally was the the Al-Jazeera media was a free media and he would never intentionally bomb it. Of course, it now comes out that he did, so the wife of the dead journalist is suing. And just so you understand, no democrats are grasping at straws, its a wife upset because her husband was killed by Bush bombing an open media outlet!
This is not "any story". This is reality. The woman lost her husband. She has all the rights of the world to sue whoever she feels to. It is interesting how some people are merciful or feel compassion towards US soldiers who die on battle every day and even they demand the rest of the world to feel the same way (which I fully understand) but then when deaths are not "touching home" then they are not worth it. It makes me sick.
