It was great to hear the lady was not hurt and the missionaries were there to help her. Hopefully, it will open many doors for the preaching of the Gospel in that area.

Eyewitnesses said Bristol was pulled from the building at First Street, Ste Madeleine by the two unnamed men who were first on the scene when the fire started around 2 p.m.

Sixty-year-old Bristol lived in the ground floor apartment of the house and was about to take a bath when the fire started.

The wooden and concrete two-storey structure was owned by 52-year-old Leroy Sylvester from whose kitchen in the upper portion of the house the blaze is believed have started. Fire officials estimate damage at $350,000.

Not sure. I read in the Mission site that the story was "embellished" to reach the papers since there was a photographer right there who thought it would make a great story.
