They say it just can't be

They say it isn't real

Why is it that we

Can't express how we feel

Or say what's on our minds

And just be true to our hearts

It's been said that true love finds

A way no matter how far we're apart

I believe we are meant to be

Forever I am yours

As deep as the shining sea

I will love you to the core

Tonight if I lost you

I'd lose all, even my heart beat

You just don't have a clue

How you make my life so sweet

I always love poems of true love and devotion to someone. Of course, I am a hopeless romantic myself and still write poems for my wife ten years since our union. I envision you saying this to your love as they sleep silently, watching over him as he sleeps. Very beautiful!

Thanks Kon. I have been writing since the summer before 7th grade. It is my way of releaxing and expressing emotions and thoughts that I am afraid to just say. It is often a stress-reliever of mine too. This particular poem is about someone that I believe is my true love in every sense of the word. However, at this time, he is focused on other things.
