Fainting Goats
There is a type of Goat that faints (drops to the ground as if dead) if you walk up to it in an intimidating position. Would you have one of these as a Pet? Would you be tempted to scare the goat into fainting?

I am really not a fan of goats. I grew up in the Caribbean and viewed them as food, not pets. I would not get a goat, fainting or not, as a pet. If for an odd reason I did have a fainting goat, I would not be so cruel as to make it faint, for no reason. It is a defense mechanism obviously, and should only be used for that reason; to defend itself.
I might have one as a pet, but only if I lived where I could keep it outside. It would be a unique pet and goats are kind of cute. I also like the way they sound when they bleat. I'm not sure if I would scare it intentionally but I would like to see it faint at least a couple times. Maybe I would accidently scare it once or twice.
Personally, I'm one of those sick people who think goats make great pets in an out-doors sorta way. I'd definately have a couple as pets...and occasionally scare them. As far as I can tell, it's gonna happen no matter how careful you are. And it doesn't seem to hurt them. So, as long as you aren't startling them all the time, and keep it as an occasional "to win a bet" frequency, I'd say I don't see much wrong with it. :-)
