The Butler (Hover)
The Butler is a journey of all sort of emotions, a state of perpetual slavery even though African-Americans were considered to be "Free" Yet did not enjoy the rights and benefits of white American citizens.
The cast in this movie is what makes this film so great. Oprah Winfrey clearly demonstrated that she is way more than just a television host. The story is compelling, strong, raw as its best and gives you just a little idea on why African-Americans were so happy when Obama became a presidential candidate.
I highly recommend this film.
Very good film because it touches on humanity and the lack of it. The meaning of "hero" Is emphasized in The Butler - well worth the watch. It helps many to see why African Americans hailed the era of a Black American President.
