With so many movies, books, games, or even historical figures to dress up as, what kind of person picks a suicide bomber first? I think the PC crowd overdoes it sometimes, but there is definitely a line to cross and most people know when they cross that line. This is clearly a costume meant to get a reaction. I wouldn't give that child any candy for that one...

The argument for that might be if the kid dressed up as a serial killer like some masked guy with a chainsaw or as a vampire that's OK but its not OK to be a terrorist? They're all killers and they all kill with no thought for their victims. All were based on real events at one time, so why the political correctness now?

If your son died over in the middle east I doubt seeing a child dress up as a terrorist with a big smile on his face would make you feel in the spirit of Halloween.

Like anything else you can always overdo. People are very sensitive over issues specially when it has happened to them or their loved ones. I would not want my child showing up dressed with an explosive vest to the house of some parents who lost their son in Iraq to a suicide bomber.

Considering the number of people that have died because of acts of terrorism I think someone would be really inconsiderate to show up at someone's home dressed like that.

A costume is a costume. If they want to be a little terrorist then let them have fun. I doubt too many would dress up like that but you will have one or two people who would feel that this is an ok outfit/costume.
