Bush, give him a résumé the court's current justices can't match. But his status as front-runner for the prestigious high court seat came with a fair amount of baggage that nearly cost him the nod. Woman who accused Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault speaks out in The Washington Post. In a graphic account published Sunday in the The Washington Post, the woman, identified as Christine Blasey Ford, described an episode in the 1980s when she says the Supreme Court nominee pinned her to a bed and groped her over her clothing. "I thought he might inadvertently kill me," Ford told the Post. "He was trying to attack me and remove my clothing." Ford said she revealed her story in a confidential letter to a senior Democratic lawmaker and that it became public without her name or consent. Kavanaugh has previously denied the allegations, and he declined to comment further on the new revelations, the Post reported. Ref. CNN.

While I do wonder why some women wait so long to 'report' crimes committed against them this does not mean there was no crime. I also think Trump should say anything about the issue until its had its fair hearing.
