There were certainly a lot of fireworks going off at midnight, and they lasted for around an hour near us.
I think we were some of the very few on our road who stayed up after midnight. We went outside, and although there were hundreds of fireworks going off in the local area, the whole of the road had their lights off and were in bed, and there was nobody else around!
It was kind of weird!
