So, a month ago he was not OK about agreeing to stay away from the victim but last Thursday he is?

There are definite 'warning flags' that should be heeded about this case, but unfortunately in cases similar to this, it takes somebody to be hurt before anyone sits up and takes note.
Somebody who has been so infatuated for 30 years, and has stalked them for the same amount of time, in my opinion, is definitely not trustworthy on their own word of promise.. I don't think they are trustworthy whatsoever, and this guys own actions bring me to this conclusion!
