Move Democrats

I believe that the democrats next move should be to make good the promises they said they would do two years ago when they won a good majority of the house. Now that they have a even more majority in both houses they should now be able to do as they wanted to do. I hope they get some work done.

Actually, Klar, I think those Dems are hoping the American public has forgotten all those promises from two years ago. We're all just a bunch of sheep, you know?

What's going to happen now is that the Dems will do a lot of work... but what work will they do? Now that they have a Dem president, it will be easier to negotiate for things along their own agenda.

Majority rules, right?

Yeah that is the problem most of the sheeple have forgotten the promises that they made two years ago. I remember they were going to bring home the troops and end the war with Iraq. That has not happened. I remember Obama promising to end the war with Iraq and bringing home the troops if he was elected president. HE seems to have forgotten that promise before his campaigning was over.

I think the democrats do have their own agenda to put through and it looks like they have the numbers and the puppet in office to make sure it gets done like they want. This is what scares me the most.

Well this dashes the plans for a phila buster(?):

Republican wins key Senate race

US Republican Senator Saxby Chambliss wins re-election in Georgia, dashing the Democrats' hopes of a "super-majority".

Hopefully there is some kind of control to the reign of the Democrats.

I am glad that they do not have super filibuster powers. I believe that would be a sad thing. We need to have some over site of powers in the congress.

Worst thing to have is a runaway government making and creating all kinds of policies with no checks or balances.
