No immigration bill to allow illegals to come in the country for 'free' so now they are leaving Bush for the Democrats - will they save them?

Hispanics turning back to Democrats for 2008 SAN ANTONIO - Like no Republican before him, George W. Bush drew Hispanics to the GOP. In the 2004 election, at least 40% of the voters in the nation's largest and fastest-growing minority group backed Bush, double the share of Hispanics who had supported Republican Bob Dole eight years earlier. But the inroads Bush made are vanishing. The chief beneficiary for 2008 so far is Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton. Ref. https://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/2007...ems-cover_N.htm |

The whole thing is a ridiculous sham, anyway. There is no "two-party system" in place in America any longer. It doesn't matter if they are Dems or GOP, they are all puppets of the corporate bureaucracy. Follow the money, and then see what happens after all the campaign promises land someone in an actual position of leadership. "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss," no matter what party.
Look at what's happened to all the promises from the Dems recently voted into Congress. Not a blasted thing has been done. Lots of posturing and promising and blaming and finger-pointing, but nothing has changed.
If people can't see this, they are truly blind.

Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edwards Run Neck and Neck in Iowa Poll
Des Moines, IA (LifeNews.com) -- Three pro-abortion Democratic candidates are running neck and neck in several new Iowa surveys released days in advance of the caucus there. Averaging the polls together, Hillary Clinton enjoys a minuscule lead -- but at least one survey in the newest batch shows either Barack Obama or John Edwards leading. Eight different polls surveyed Democratic voters in the last few days in December and four show Clinton leading, two have Obama ahead, one has Edwards leading and a final poll has Edwards and Obama tied. Overall, Clinton has a 28.6 percent average in the Iowa polls according to Real Clear Politics while Obama is at 27 percent and Edwards in third with 25.6 percent. Abortion advocates Bill Richardson and Joe Biden are mostly out of contention at six and five percent apiece. Clinton enjoys leads in polls from CNN, Insider Advantage, ARG, and Reuters/Zogby, Obama is leading in a Des Moines Register and a Strategic Vision poll, Mason Dixon has Edwards ahead and the Quad City Times has the race tied. There is more of a disparity in the most recent New Hampshire polls as Clinton has about the support of 31 percent of Democrats there, Obama about 28 percent and Edwards about 17 percent.

Who is the more electable Democrat?
Similar ambivalence is evident nationally. In post-New Hampshire polls, Clinton has an advantage on electability. But that margin is shrinking, and surveys show that Obama fares better head-to-head against some Republicans.

Polling Firm Projects Obama or Clinton Would Defeat McCain, Survey Has Issues
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A leading polling firm has conducted a nationwide survey of 600 voters in each of the 50 states and projects that either pro-abortion candidate, Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton, would defeat John McCain in the electoral college vote this November. However, the poll has limitations that skewed its results and other analysis shows a tighter race. Survey USA interviewed 600 registered voters in each of the 50 states for a total of 30,000 interviews of Americans about the presidential race. In a contest featuring Obama and McCain, Survey USA shows Obama winning with 280 to 256 electoral votes, and 270 are needed to capture the presidency. Obama carries 24 states and the District of Columbia in the poll and McCain carries 26 while both candidates split Nebraska. The polling firm shows Obama winning battleground states such as Colorado, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Virginia and others while McCain carries Florida, Missouri, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Survey USA shows a closer race against Clinton, with her having a 276-262 advantage over McCain. The shift in several states from the Obama-McCain matchup is quite noticeable. Clinton carries her former home state of Arkansas in the matchup, loses Colorado, Michigan to McCain, wins in Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and West Virginia. Though it shows either pro-abortion candidate winning, Survey USA admits its own survey has its limitations.

I do kind of feel sorry for people who actually thought when they voted for the Democrats that they would have a Congress who would immediately end the War, Impeach Bush and Cheney, and erase every tax cut that was put into place. Well, I don't feel that bad about it.
Good luck Democrats, when your Liberal base realizes that you are not following through on your promises.

ABC News Coming Under Criticism for Focus of Obama, Clinton Debate
ABC News is coming under intense criticism for its handling of Wednesday¹s Democratic debate in Pennsylvania. During the first forty-five minutes of the debate, the moderators focused on Senator Barack Obama¹s comments that some voters in Pennsylvania were bitter, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright controversy, Senator Hillary Clinton¹s Bosnia 'sniper fire' story, flag pins and the Weather Underground, before later turning to the issues. We play highlights of the debate.
