402 Murders

Trinidad & Tobago is setting records every time this figure goes up within this year. Now at 402 it is anyone's guess what number will be reached before 2009.

411 Murders

Latest crime figure is 411 Murders for 2008 thus far. We merely need to look at the news tonight to know how much more it will be tomorrow.

The month is not over, in fact just a week has passed and already the murder count is at 432. It is increasing so fast that we can look at 500 for sure before the year is through.

That's what I said in July in this same thread. We will not only reach 500 but we will pass it. It is truly a nightmare.

442 Murders!

The figure has been updated and I did some slight modifications to the front page of TTCrime. Your input into the various crime cases are appreciated.

446 Murders

This figure was updated today, but just as a body of a man was found burnt in a pickup. One has to wonder how much it will be tomorrow.

450 Murders

We will need 50 murders more in the next sixty-something days in order to reach 500. That will mean less than one murder per day. Right now we average almost 2 a day so yes, looks like we will have more than 500.

471 Murders

29 more murders and we reach 500, looks like we now need to ask how many more beyond 500 will die at the hands of the criminal element in Trinidad & Tobago?
