Former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev on Monday asked Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates to intercede on behalf of a Russian teacher accused of using pirated software in his classroom.

Mercy pirate Software Show Gates Gorbachev

Any bets on whether the evil empire of Microsoft will drop the charge and let the teacher free? It would me nice, it would be the right thing to do. In fact, if Gates was a real humanitarian, he would give them free software for their school and would help them out in a good humanitarian effort instead of sending him to a Siberian prison camp. I am going to be that Bill Gates will want to make an example out of him and throw him to the dogs. After all, if you help one school, then they will all commit piracy to get free stuff right?
