A 38-year-old Belfast man who sexually abused his stepdaughter over a six-year period is jailed for nine years.

Sickening. This reminds me of the story of the girl that was held captive for 8 years and the guy committed suicide, if he would have face charges he would spent not even 7 years in jail. Some laws need to change right away!

That's certainly not what I would call justice for the victim, nothing can put right the abuse that she has had to endure, but sentences like this are just plain insulting. It's time the justice system toughens up, and gets a grip on reality, if that's all that people are facing when found guilty, it's certainly not going to be much of a deterrent for some sickos!
